The number of people slipping into credit card debt because of fraud is on the up according to research from 192Business.com.
The group report that for every fraud that is dealt with by the law and banks, 8 more go unpunished leaving consumers to foot the bill in most cases.
Andrew Goodwill, director of the 3rd Man Group who helped conduct the research commented, "Card crime is a major and growing threat to consumers and retailers".
