Credit card users up and down the UK are hopping from one card to another in order to get better deals and stifle debt, a new survey has revealed.
Life assistance company CPP who specialise in identity protection surveyed card users across the country. With the results showing that 15 per cent of annual income is being spent on credits card transactions, it's no surprise that 40 per cent of users regularly switch cards in order to take advantage of 0 per cent balance transfer deals.
The average card hopper was calculated to be changing cards every nine months or so, leading to the amassment of 59 credit cards over their lifetime.
